Product Details

The Genie GL8 Counterweight Base lift is built for tight spaces where users are required to get close to the load. It’s manually operated and incredibly versatile, making it ideal for places where other material lifts simply won’t fit. Whether you're working in a warehouse, retail shop, or installing equipment in a crowded spot, this Genie material lift gives you the control and reach you need to handle materials.

Thanks to its counterweight base design, you can roll the GL8 right up to your load without anything blocking the way, due to no front legs in the way, allowing for direct access. It’s a real asset when you’re lifting from worktops, shelves, or areas with fixed obstacles. Despite its compact size, it can lift up to 182kg and reach as high as 3.06 meters when the forks are flipped up.

Setup is fast and simple. You can get it ready to use in under a minute without the need for any tools. The lift moves easily on its rear casters, and once you’re in place, the side brakes lock everything down so you can work safely. The standard forks flip over for extra height, which helps when you need that little extra reach.

If you need to increase the versatility of your GL4 Counterweight, there are accessories available. A load platform gives better stability for flat items, and a boom attachment turns your GL8 into a hoist.

Orders placed before 10:00 am Monday to Friday are despatched the same working day for next working day delivery to UK mainland addresses. Orders placed after this time, or at a weekend, are despatched the next working day.

Delivery of machines is booked in with you directly so someone is on site to receive it.

Click & Collect is available from our Castle Donington showroom Monday to Friday. We will confirm either by email or phone once your order is ready to collect.

The package includes one annual Service and Thorough Examination (LOLER), carried out at our Headquarters by our experienced service team. Please note: The material lift must be delivered to our centrally located premises for the Service and Thorough Examination to be carried out. If you are unable to deliver the material lift, please contact a member of our team to discuss the available options.

Yes — attachments and accessories can be added to any machine order and will ship together where possible.

If your order contains both in-stock and backordered products, you have two delivery options: Seperate Delivery -
Your in-stock products will be dispatched immediately, with the backordered products sent seperately when they become available. Where seperate shipments are required, additional delivery charges will apply. Combined Delivery -
You can choose to have your complete order held until all products are available. Your entire order will then be dispatched together, meaning you will only pay one delivery charge where applicable.
