Product Details

The Genie GL4 Straddle base is one of the smallest in the Genie lift lineup. It’s compact, easy to move, and durable, with a lifting capacity up to 227kg. Depending on how you position the forks, you’ll get a lift height of either 1.26 meters (forks down) or up to 1.8 meters (forks flipped up), which gives you some additional flexibility.

What makes this model different from the Genie GL4 Standard is the straddle base design. The legs can extend out to the sides, letting you handle loads up to 0.91 meters wide. That extra width is needed to get around larger or awkwardly shaped items.

All Genie material lifts are used across different industries, from maintenance and installations to warehousing and retail. It’s practical, straightforward, and just makes the job easier. Whether you're loading up a shelf, moving inventory, or picking orders, it makes material handling efficient and safe.

The Genie GL4 Straddle can be set up in seconds with no tools required. Its portable design means you can roll it into place and be ready to lift in seconds. The standard forks flip to suit different lifting heights, which is a nice bonus when the task changes from one day to the next.

The GL4 Straddle has multiple accessories that can be attached, a flat load platform, a boom attachment, or a ladder accessory to give you some extra reach. Pneumatic wheels on the rear help it move smoothly over rougher surfaces, and a foot brake keeps everything steady once you're in position.

All in all, the GL4 Straddle Base is a compact and reliable piece of equipment that is perfect for tight spaces, but still strong enough to get the job done right.

Orders placed before 10:00 am Monday to Friday are despatched the same working day for next working day delivery to UK mainland addresses. Orders placed after this time, or at a weekend, are despatched the next working day.

Delivery of machines is booked in with you directly so someone is on site to receive it.

Click & Collect is available from our Castle Donington showroom Monday to Friday. We will confirm either by email or phone once your order is ready to collect.

The package includes one annual Service and Thorough Examination (LOLER), carried out at our Headquarters by our experienced service team. Please note: The material lift must be delivered to our centrally located premises for the Service and Thorough Examination to be carried out. If you are unable to deliver the material lift, please contact a member of our team to discuss the available options.

If your order contains both in-stock and backordered products, you have two delivery options: Seperate Delivery -
Your in-stock products will be dispatched immediately, with the backordered products sent seperately when they become available. Where seperate shipments are required, additional delivery charges will apply. Combined Delivery -
You can choose to have your complete order held until all products are available. Your entire order will then be dispatched together, meaning you will only pay one delivery charge where applicable.
