Genie GH5.6 Super Hoist

When you’re working on site and need to lift materials safely and efficiently, the Genie GH5.6 Super Hoist offers a smart and reliable solution. It’s a lightweight, compact piece of kit - just 37kg - but it’s got some serious lifting power behind it. You can raise up to 158 kg to a height of 3.8m, or 68kg all the way to 5.6m. That kind of flexibility makes it a handy choice across all sorts of jobs, from installations and repairs to ongoing maintenance and light construction work.

What really makes the GH5.6 stand out is how easy it is to use. You don’t need any tools to get it set up—it’s ready to go in seconds. The legs fold out and lock into place when you’re working, then tuck neatly away for storage or transport when you’re done. It’s designed with convenience in mind, especially for busy tradespeople who are constantly on the move.

Power comes from a standard compressed air bottle, which gives you roughly 80 to 90 lifts per bottle. That means you can get through a full day’s work without needing to worry about recharging or finding a mains socket. It’s clean, quiet, and gets the job done without any fuss.

The controls are simple, too. A pistol grip handle lets you manage the up and down movements with one hand, and it includes a dump valve for fine-tuned control. When you’re not using the handle, it clips onto the side of the cylinder, out of the way but easy to grab when needed.

Another thoughtful detail is the 4.87m air hose, which gives you enough reach to move around freely without constantly shifting the unit. And when you’re done, the hose wraps neatly around the brackets under the platform to keep everything tidy.

It’s reliable, easy to transport, and built to handle tough, everyday use without overcomplicating things. Whether you're on a construction site, fitting out a building, or carrying out essential maintenance, this hoist gives you the kind of performance and peace of mind you’ll appreciate.
